OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR REFERRING DOCTORS
Our practice is service oriented. Our ultimate goal is to assist you in providing your patients with a preferred level of oral health. You can be assured that we will take the time to listen to your patient’s concerns. You can count on us to insure that the relationship between your patient and your office is never jeopardized. We realize that the patient and their referring doctor are the most important components of our practice. With our flexible schedule we can usually see patients when you want them to be seen. Often, implant consultations and crown elongation procedure can be seen immediately. Simply alert our office and then “send them right over.” If you ever encounter delays in having one of your patients seen in our office or if you have a patient that needs immediate attention, call me personally. I will make sure that we see the patient immediately.
We will always provide the referring doctor with a written summary of their patient’s necessary periodontal, implant and/or restorative care. Following completion of periodontal or implant care, we will return to you a patient that has been educated and motivated to complete their necessary restorative care in a timely manner at your office.
A Note About Implants: Single tooth implants just got a whole lot easier. Instead of sending your patients back with a healing cap in place, we can now place the abutment and make the temporary crown. All you do is make the final impression and cement the crown. When you send us an implant patient simply tell us to “select the abutment and make the temporary” and we will do the rest.
WAYS TO REFER A PATIENT:
1. Call our office (270) 842-2341 or (800) 737-4623. We will get the necessary information and schedule the patient accordingly.
2. Use our Referral Slip, which is conveniently designed in triplicate. A copy goes to the patient, a copy goes in your patient’s chart, and a copy is mailed to us with pre-paid postage. Call our office if you need a supply of Referral Slips.
